Does somebody have successfully set up the sleep mode for the HP Omnibook 6100?
I spent a lot of time with this issue, but I still must exit from X session before press the sleep button.
If I didn't stop X, the screen don't works at all. |

I've got one, but I didn't have to do anything special to get sleep working well with X...
Maybe if you could post your XF86Config?
Also, are you using ACPI? It wouldn't surprise me if that was screwing something up. |

I spent a lot of time playing with ACPI & APM. It looks tricky to compile the working kernel for my notebook. For the moment this issue looks solved for me and I almost forgot about such problems.
Sleep mode in X works well while I don't use dri module. But in this case Xserver is slow.
Anyway I'm interesting about XF86Config of somebody else. |
