when downloading big files i have a lot of problems:
-md5 problems
-archive problems while md5 is ok
=>for the files: ut2004 demo and american army

i've also the gentoo rr4 live-cd that makes a crc32 error on several pc(livecd as knoppix but based on gentoo)

so i don't understand why
i've a "bad luck" bug lol
someone has made some vodoo tricks to my computers???

i don't know what kind of info i should provide???(have you an idea of wht kind of info i sould provide)
mabe it's a harddsik problem...
how should i check if there is some problem...
mabe it's a freespace related question...
(how ca i enlarge my firstpartition...qtparted does not want to do so and evms gui doesn't work)
(but evms and evmsn works)

According to my experience, "random" data error are often due to faulty ram.
Burn a cd with memtest86 with an other computer and boot it.
(memtest86 is also included in Gentoo livecd as a boot option)

could it be the cd that could only be read corectely by the cd-rewriter?
