Hi all,
I'm living in Spain, but I have a laptop with a US keyboard layout. I've customised my Compose table for my locale, because the deadkeys on the default setup drive me nuts. I did it loosely following the solution here. This works like a charm for all my programs except Thunderbird and Firefox. I have my LANG set to en_NZ.UTF-8, and the X Compose file within /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/locale/en_NZ.UTF-8/ customised. I'm guessing Firefox and Thunderbird might have their own ideas about the locale, and thus be using the default en_US.* Compose file? Can I change their locale?
Thanks for any help,
Colin |
