Bonjour,

J'ai recamment telecharge SunRay Server 3. Question de brancher mes terminaux SuNRay sur mon serveur Gentoo :P


Seulement, tous les packages sont en .RPM, alors la je me dis "Oh mon Dieu comment une chose aussi abobinable peut etre possible !", mais je me risque a verfier dans portage si un ebuild "RPM" y reside et a mon grand etonnement, oui !


Je decide donc de l'emerger mais j'ai toujours des problemes de dependencies pas rapport ou encore il me dit qu'il s'est installe mais il apparait pleins d'erreurs et les RPM ne s'installent pas.


Ma question etant donc: Puis-je compter sur Gentoo pour pouvoir faire fonctionner mes SunRay! Ou encore, est-ce que je peux installer des packages RPM sur mon Gentoo ??

PS: Si ca mache je vous jure je fais un HOWTO :P

pfiiiooooouuuuu ca fait longtemp que j'ai pas posté moi :?

Pour ton probleme de rpm, il doit y'avoir des outils comme app-arch/rpm2targz qui comme indiquait te transforme ton rpm en tar.gz ... et ensuite, un petit ebuild qui va bien et roulez jeunesse ...

Ca c'est dans la theorie ... parce que j'ai jamais essayé en fait :wink:

Sinon, je ne sais pas si y'a un moyen plus direct pour utiliser les rpm .... mais on dit qu'emerge est tout puissant, donc tout est possible

EDIT : y'a aussi la commande rpm, alien ....

La solution qui fonctionne pour moi à chaque fois que je veux installer un soft proprio avec plein de rpm partout c'est ::
dans mon rép ou il y a les rpm :
Code:
rpm2targz chacundemesrpms

puis
Code:
tar tvzf mestargzobtenus

pour toi, tu dois, je pense, voir que l'arbo contenue est :

./opt/SUNWut/

donc :
Code:
cd /
tar xvzf chermin/vers/mes/targz/obtenus

ensuite tu va lire ton script utinstall (il s'agit certainement d'un script)
tu regarde ce qu'il fait autre que l'install des rpms et tu vois ce qui est intéressant.
Ca marche à presque tous les coups chez moi : Legato Networker, HP OV NNM, et autres softs proprio plein de rpms.

J'espère que ça peut t'aider.
