is there any ftpservercan statisfy my need?
1 all the vitual users of ftp server own a public upload directory, but I don't want they have privilege to write files uploaded by others.
2 I don't want to set each vitual user a dedicated uid, (pure-ftpd suggest that you can assign each virtual user a different uid to solve this problem ,but that means 1000 uid for 1000 virtual users ,it's horrible) |

Well, just how are you suggesting to authenticate 1000 virtual users??
You have to have an access method that your users can validify with, then it's just a matter of setting it up.
