Is this important how I write modules for hardware which I write first and so on....so they will auto load...
I have installed Gentoo and still dont have no sound.....also in kde if I check hardware inf there is writen like NO SOUND DEVICE
And it always crashes/the aplication in kde I mean...
Can somebody help....
AMD athlon xp 2600+
ASUS a7n8x-x
ATI 9600
120Gb hdd
1024Mb ram

Sound: Check out the ALSA-guide http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/alsa-guide.xml.
KDE-Crashes: Maybe you used wrong CFLAGS. The output of 'emerge info' would help us a lot. And a bit more error description also. _________________ Heaven: The police are British, the chefs Italian, the mechanics German, the lovers French and it's organized by the Swiss.
