Sorry, not a Gentoo specific problem.

My Logitech mx700 keeps moving in a small square when in a graphical environment (Gnome or Windows), as in it has 4 points that it rotates between. On the console it flickers between two points but moves diagonally upwards. The buttons themselves respond correctly. When I was testing it on the windows computer if I hit scroll or clicked the proper function would be performed.

I've tried changing the batteries, but the same problem occurs. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Thien
