Hi ihrs...
habe folgendes Problem mit Amarok und mplayer... Nachdem ich unter Amarok irgendwelche Sounddateien abgespielt habe (was einwandfrei funktioniert), laesst sich der mplayer nicht mehr starten... Er bricht einfach an dieser Stelle ab:

Danach passiert nichts mehr. Habe ich Amarok vorher nicht verwendet, startet er einwandfrei...
Amarok ist in Version 1.2.3, mplayer in Version 1.0_pre6-r4
Die in Amarok verwendete Soundengine ist ARTS, verwende KDE 3.4.0
Habe schon im Forum gesucht, aber niemand scheint ein vergleichbares Problem zu haben. Hoffe, dass einer von euch eine gute Idee hat, meine gehen mir langsam aus.

Ich vermute, amarok verwendet arts, welches dann das Audiodevice blockiert. Mplayer wartet nun brav, bis die Soundkarte wieder frei ist (was natürlich nicht so schnell pasiert).
Kannst du mal versuchen, im Mplayer "arts" als Audiodevice einzustellen? Damit funktioniert es bei mir dann problemlos.

danke fuer die schnelle antwort :)... duerfte genau der fall gewesen sein... habe in den einstellungen zum sound einfach die blockierdauer auf wenige sekunden heruntergesetzt, so dass mplayer direkt wieder funzt :)...
