Hello all,
I have had gentoo on second hand pc i got from my brother for a few month now and all has been grand. After i got everything on it as i wantted it worked a treat, no problems.
Gentoo is my secondary pc at home (primary at work), as i keep windows on my main home pc for games.
Anyway, during boot the computer hung on the line that was somthign like :

I cant rem it exactly.
So i hit the reset button and it powers off then beeps a number of times (im not sure now), with no input detected written on the screen and thats it. 
I assumed that it was somthing majour to do with the HD or maybe the graphics card, and would require alot of work to sort, so i went out with the plan of looking into it later. When i came back i took the case off too look inside, just incase somthing wasnt conencted correctly, pushed some things in, but everything seemed fine. So i thought i would turn it back on and count the beeps and look on the net to see what error they represent.
But, to my suprise, it all turned on fine, and is working great again now! 
Anyone got any ideas what it could of been up?
Or any advice on how i can look into working out what is wrong, or what hardware is faulty/goning to brake soon?
