hi everybody.
i'm new in linux & gentoo si pretty difficult. i've got a problem with "acpi".
in the default kernel 2.6.11 (genkernel) the acpi is on. if i make the installation with this gentoo don't work on my pc.
so i have 2 make the acpi=off.
how can i do this ???
and after making acpi=off do i have 2 save the kernel on my boot partition? or what?????
and than how do i modify the grub.grub.conf ?
i have 2 show the boot partition in grub mode (hda = hd0) and the root partition in hda2 ???? _________________ p4 3200 laptop.

Please read the Gentoo Installation Handbook carefully; most of your questions are answered there. _________________ >>> emerge (3 of 7) mcse/70-293 to /
