Howdy,
I love gnome, I tried out kde 3.1 to see how things would be but I ended up coming back to gnome. The only major issue I have with it is gnome terminal.
First I started getting my weird home/end issue. Whenever I used the home or end key in editors it would return a character. Here's the link to that discussion as I'm still unsure what to do: link.
Now I've got a couple new ones. One involves irssi but I haven't narrowed down the exact symptoms so I'll ask that one later. The most obvious issue though is that all my text in bash is underlined. I looked incase this was a new setting but I see no way to disable it.
Here is a picture to help you see my problem. It doesn't underline in editors etc. only bash. But it makes it hard to read blocks of text.
I love gnome, but the gnome-terminal keeps on playing around with me and it's starting to just get annoying.
Thanks for any help! |
