I hope this is in the correct section of the forum, if not, I am sorry!

My question is this : I want to run a windows application called zMUD under linux. I know there are windows emulators which should be able to handle this, but I am wondering which one is the best to use. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Mitch

Wine is a reimplementation of the win32 api. It's in portage.

Code:
emerge wine

You can also check out commercial versions of wine such as crossover office and Cedega. A google search should reveal needed information.

Btw, there are also several mud-clients available in Portage (e.g. tintin, powwow, etc.) that you could try out. Look inside /usr/portage/games-mud/.

Yes, thank you very much! I have looked at most all of them, I dont really like any of them though, they just don't run as smoothly as zMUD seems to. But thanks!

Ok, another question about the emulators, will wine run games such as Guild Wars? I am wanting to not have to use my Windows Partition at all, because I do alot of programming and its just much easier to program in Linux, ( I like the gnu compiler) So I'm just wondering which one of these emulators would be best.
