This may or may not be the correct forum for this, but how do i configure a 3 button mouse with wheel? I had problems with this on my old SuSE system, but that had Sax2 to help. Im guessing i need to add some kernel modules?

Also, where can i download some fonts? I was particularly fond of my courier new font on SuSE:(

3 button mouse, add this under your mouse option in xorg.conf

Code:
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"

you can also add

Code:
Option "Resolution" "<dpi of mouse>"

b_zed_image,

You configure your mouse two places.

The console mouse id configured in /etc/gpm/ the files are well commented.
The X server mouse is configured in /etc/X11/xorg.conf

If
Code:
nano -w  /etc/X11/xorg.conf
is overwhelming, try
Code:
xorgcfg
which is a graphical configuration utility for X.

You probably mean the mouse in X, not on the console, right? If so, put something like this in your xorg.conf
Code:
# Identifier and driver
    Identifier   "Mouse1"
    Driver   "mouse"
    Option "Protocol"    "IMPS/2"
    Option "Device"      "/dev/input/mouse0"
    Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
