Hi. I want to see where a usb card has been placed. To do this, I wanted to use the "tail -f /var/log/messages" command. The problem is that I receive this message:

Code:

tail: cannot open `/var/log/messages' for reading: No such file or directory
tail: no files remaining

In fact the file messages doesn't exist. Maybe cause linux doesn't create it? How can I create it?
Thanks.
