how do u add applications to the gnome menu
somehow i keep adding them to my panel but not the actual menu |

Open the menu you add an item to, right click on an existing item, and go to "Entire menu --> Add new item to this menu". |

well i use the "start here" icon on the desktop. open up applications and add/delete at will.
However how can I remove the KDE Menu from the bottom of the Gnome menu ???? |

bitMat wrote: | However how can I remove the KDE Menu from the bottom of the Gnome menu ???? | I don't know if this will work for GNOME 2.2, but in 2.0 all you had to do is delete /usr/share/applnk, but before you do this, make sure to make a backup, because I don't know if that'll delete your menu entires when loading KDE (in case you use KDE and GNOME). And anyways, it's always a good idea i guess to make a backup before deleting anything... |
