Hallo zusammen,
ich bin ja jetzt auf Gentoo Stable umgestiegen. Habe jetzt wieder alles soweit funktionstüchtig eingerichtet inkl. WLAN.
Doch dort habe ich jetzt ein paar probleme. Und zwar kann ein Modul nicht geladen werden, ich glaube auch daran liegt es, dass das WLAN machmal einfach abbricht. Ich muss dann immer wpa_supplicant neu startet, damit die Karte wieder funktioniert.

Als ich das testing System noch gefahren habe, habe ich damit keine Probleme gehabt. Die madwifi-driver sind ~x86, das mag ja sein, aber ohne die gehts ja nicht, oder? Zumindest bei der Netgear mit Atheros Chipsatz (WG511T)
Kann mir einer da weiterhelfen?

Hast du vielleicht nen neuen Kernel kompiliert und gestartet und vergessen die externen Module ebenfalls neu zu kompilieren?
