Mixing Kernel Patches

I really would like to be on 2.6.11 hardenend on my XBOX. There is only a 2.4.x xbox-sources in portage, while the xbox-linux.org people have already made a pach to make 2.6.11 (NOT 2.6.11.x) into 2.6.11-xobx. Here is the patch http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/xbox-linux/linux-2.6.11-xbox.patch.gz?download How safe would it be to apply this to the hardened sources and compile?

P.S. I think that 2.6.11 patch for xbox sources really needs to find its way into portage.
