Ok, this has been bugging me for like a year and I have never tried to get an answer but this time I want to:
I have a Linux box which is this I use and I use a DSL connection which makes the network between my Linux box and my fathers windows XP box, in the XP box there is a Lexmar Z605 printer which I don't know how to print with my Linux box. I use Gnome 2.10 so is there any howto accomplish this? or more info I need to give?

to be honest...if it's shared, CUPS will probably give you the best option :)

On my last job CUPS was the answer, yet I had a lot of trouble with XP and could only get it to work with the windows firewall shut off 8O something I would not recommend. Hope there's an experienced windoze user out there, I went straight to Linux from Dos quite a few years ago :D
