howdy.
i emerged setiathome and then attempted to follow the instructions from the end of the emerge by trying Code: | $ cd /var/lib/setiathome && /opt/setiathome/setiathome | unfortunately, this gave me some grumpy errors about not being able to find a bunch of .sah files. i touched all of those and chmodded them, and now when i try to run the above code as a user, i get a seemingly normal startup to seti, but it fails as soon as it starts crunching numbers Quote: | New software version - deleting temp files.

Unknown Error -1 | running it from /etc/init.d works ok, but i'd prefer to retain a term's control over the process. any ideas about how i can do that? |
