Hi,
I configured a HP Deskjet 970Cxi with CUPS and the test page is printed OK.
But when I try to print from any other program, such acroread, gedit, openoffice, ... , The printer doesn't print anything.
I've taken a look to my /var/log/cups/error_log and that's what I get: "Error closing renderer":

| I'm not sure, I'm think that renderer=ghostscript, so try emerge ghostscript and see what happens. Also, make sure your printer doesn't need pnm2ppa, I know that the HP Deskjet 722C needs it, I don't know about others. |
