Hallo,
dies ist meine erste Gentoo Installation. Ich habe mein System aus Stage1 erstellt.
Das System läuft soweit. Jetzt geht es daran X zu konfigurieren. Irgendwie bekomme
ich es nicht hin. Es liegt wohl an der ATI FireGl2 Karte. Ich habe jede Menge Dokumentation
gelesen und komme nicht weiter. Vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen.
Ich habe einen 2.6.11-r9 Kernel. agpart habe ich als Modul erstellt. Die ati-drivers habe ich emergt.
Im X-Log bekomme ich die Meldung

lspci zeigt an

Irgendwie wird wohl die Karte nicht erkannt! |

bist du dir sicher, dass du eine ati firegl2 hast?

Ja 100-prozentig sicher.
Ich habe die Karte schon ausgebaut und eine andere FireGl2 eingebaut.
Die Meldungen sind gleich. |
