At my university a need to run a script on my linux box, if a want access to the internet. But the script use a program called ip, which should be locatet in /sbin
But there is a little problem, there is no program in /sbin called ip, so I try to find it myself by running: locate ip | grep bin
but without result. So my questions are, which packed do I need to install, so I got the ip program?
greetings

I am 100% sure, and you were right, it is iproute2: Code: | $qpkg -f /sbin/ip
sys-apps/iproute2 * |
