I'm trying to install Apache (apache-2.0.54-r6) and Subversion (subversion-1.2.0). I'm trying to install apache first, then subversion. If I install subversion first, I still get this error:
/usr/lib/libaprutil-0.so: undefined reference to `db_create_4001'
/usr/lib/libaprutil-0.so: undefined reference to `db_strerror_4001'
I don have berkley-DB installed, apr, and apr-utils...I'm not sure why its giving this error, and I can't find any solutions. I did unemerge and them emerged db,apr,apr-utils again...with no luck.
I'm imagining that db can't create the db...why? Anyone have any idea on how to fix it?
Cheers. _________________ Regards,

I made an update world day before yesterday and get the same error when trying to start my apache (using php4) or postfix.
* Apache2 has detected a syntax error in your configuration files:
Syntax error on line 6 of /usr/lib/apache2/conf/modules.d/70_mod_php.conf:
Cannot load /usr/lib/apache2/extramodules/libphp4.so into server: /usr/lib/apache2/extramodules/libphp4.so: undefined symbol: db_create_4001
/usr/lib/postfix/master: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/postfix/master: undefined symbol: db_version_4001
I've no idea where this might come from.
Recompile of php, apache, mysql and postfix didn't have any results.
Config:
Linux version 2.4.26-gentoo-r9
Apache:
Server version: Apache/2.0.54
Server built: Jun 15 2005 13:47:56
PHP:
PHP 4.3.11 (cli) (built: Jun 15 2005 14:39:20)
Mysql:
mysqld Ver 4.0.24 for pc-linux-gnu on i586 (Gentoo Linux mysql-4.0.24)
Any ideas? |
