following problem occurs when mplayer (and every other player like totem etc) plays a playlist:
after the first movie the screen turns black but the sound still continues... all i have to do is, to click the right mouse and the screen shows the movie again... it's rather annoying if you have a playlist with some movies and everytime the next part has to be played, i have to stand up and click...
any solution available??
(i use xorg and gnome including xscreensaver) |

tried using a different video type, ala OpenGL, Xvideo, etc?

hm, i already tried some other video type but i can't switch to full screen mode...
should i emerge the mplayer with USE="opengl" to activate the opengl video support? |

you can change the video support in the options section of mplayer.

There were some other people with the same issue on both of those, if you do some digging you may find an answer quicker then me.

i solved the problem by installing the external ati-drivers and configuring them...
