I'm having trouble figuring out how to get a session bus working. I am running dbus-0.23.4, and I can't seem to get a session bus started automatically. I can run dbus-launch and manually export the results to my environment. Once I do that I can run beagle/best from that console and it works great. Is there some way to make this happen system wide, so I don't have to do this manually when I want to run this program? |

Does not "/etc/init.d/dbus start" work?
Anyway, beagle 0.0.10 just released has no need for DBUS at all... So if you dont wish to use dbus, then perhaps the new beagle might help.... |
