|
|
Hello,
I got my no-multilib system almost up and running. I made lib64 symlink to lib (same for /usr), however, even after "emerge world" all binaries I came across are linked against lib64 instead of lib.
What do I have to do before my next "emerge world" for all binaries to linke against [/usr]/lib so I can remove that lib64 symlink ? |

I would like to bring this up again as I have a hard time to believe, that everybody is happy with having two lib directories (or one directory and one symlink, which also spoils tab completion). |

I think the majority is running a multilib system, so only a few people are affected... |
