There is a howto here:
http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_From_Winamp_to_XMMS
Anyways, I followed it, but in ./configure I get this:
Code: |
bash-2.05b# ./configure
Looking for wine executable: /usr/bin/wine
Looking for WINE libraries: Looking for WINE include path: /usr/include/wine/windows
/usr/X11R6/include/wine/windows
Looking for winemine.exe.so: not found, assuming WINE version < 200207xx
not found
xmms-winamp configuration aborted
<So I looked for it>
bash-2.05b# locate winemine.exe.so
/usr/lib32/wine/winemine.exe.so
|
Why does this software think I don't have wine? |

It doesn't know where to look, basically. Can you tell it explicitly with a ./configure flag? Something like ./configure --with-wine=/usr/lib32/wine/winemine.exe.so -- you should be able to find if such an option exists by running ./configure --help. _________________ No-one's more important than the earthworm. |

I copied all the files in /usr/lib32/wine into /usr/include/wine/windows and into /usr/X11R6/include/wine/windows
./configure still fails. I tried both the commands you gave me, so success. ./configure --help just runs ./configure. |
