Hi all,
I am looking for an "offline cms" software. I have webspace without php and so on so I can not run the "normal" cms software.
I want to have a small site (20 pages) on my desktop where I can update everything and uploade it from there but don`t want to bother with designs ...
If you got an idea if such a software exists please post it.

As a starting point, you can use the CMS Matrix Search/Filter function.
The feature "Static Content Export" is the one that fits your description best. Unfortunately, there are only a few free/opensource projects that actually offer such a feature.
But the feature "Friendly URLs" is also fine since you could easily grab your site recursivly using wget. Many free/opensource projects have this feature.
Keep in mind that the CMS Matrix is not very accurate. The feature lists contain errors and some are incomplete. For instance, although OpenCms offers static content export, this feature is not listed. |
