I set a system up to do an upgrade over the weekend and my system appears broken this morning. I get an error about not being able to open libstdc++ on pretty much any program I try to run including doing an emerge. Is this a particular library I can download from somewhere?
/ # emerge --pretend whatever
/usr/bin/python: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot op
en shared object file: No such file or directory
Thanks. |

Thanks I'll give it a try.
(I did do a search by the way and got no hits. I was searching for the error string with libstdc++.so.5. Even searching on libstdc++.so.5 alone you get only 1 hit for the Jackass project.) |
