|
|
Hey all,
I'm having troubles with my floppy drive. When i'm logged in as (or have su'd) root, i can access fine. When i'm logged into my work account, however, i cannot access it. Read or write.
Details:
Floppy mountpoint: /fd
fstab entry:
/dev/sda /fd auto noauto,user 0 0
I also tried to put my work account into the floppy group using KUser, but it couldn't find or backup /etc/gshadow.
Any ideas? _________________ Regards,

Quote: | /dev/sda /fd auto noauto, user 0 0 | Why are you using /dev/sda when you wish to mount a floppy? sda is the first scsi/sata device _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered
