I have a logitech mx1000 and I've noticed several posts mentioning that logitech_applet doesn't support it properly:
Code: |
# ./logitech_applet
002/002 046D/C50E M-RAG97 MX1000 Laser Mouse
Channel 2 Battery: 7 Single channel No 800cpi support No Horiz Roller No Vert Roller 2 butt.
|
So, I have the Resolution in xorg.conf set to 800, is there anyway to verify this is actually what it is?? (should I set my desktop to 800x600, then move the mouse one inch to the left and see if the cursor goes all the way across the screen?? ) _________________ Kris Edwards

Don't worry. The utility doesn't support changing the resolution because the mouse doesn't support changing the resolution, it ALWAYS runs at 800 DPI. Even if this were not true, Xorg's Resolution option will have no affect on this stuff.
You might want to go read my little information dump:

Hey thanks for the reply and the link
(I'm not sure what floam is, but it sounds like it'd be fun at parties) _________________ Kris Edwards
