Hey, well i just stumbled upon this nigfty 'lil application, and the features seem to impress me..

The auto-ban ip thingy is what is very very useful, and most people woukd wan to have something like that..

Umm, kinda it is.. but its got a 30day fully working trial !
Besides, arent these the functions we'd like to see in our GNU ftp servers ??

I think proftpd can do that - I know that vsftpd can (by users - probably not class/unix group)

nscd (part of glibc) can do this for every service that requests uid/name/password gid/name hostname lookups

I think portsentry can do this - although that blocks all services and not just ftp

I think that's it's main selling point - other FTP daemons have everything else. |
