|
|
Hi There,
I would like to get Ogle to work, but it refuses to run ( starts up the DVD, gets the encryption keys ok, then closes down). There is no error messages, just closes down each time it is run.
Appreciate some help if anyone has got it going. _________________ --

This is a typical scenario, and one to be discouraged as much as possible. When someone asks about help with software A, please don't recommend switching to B. If you can't help with A, you gracefully take a step to the side and let others volunteer, rather than promoting alternatives. |

What version is that (is it ~ppc keyworded)?
What frame rates are you getting, and what is your machine?
(I am trying to get good frame-rates on a Pismo 400Mhz, so far only VLC has been giving me "watchable" DVD'd, at only 15fps ) _________________ --

I got ogle to play a dvd by using the kernel sound instead of alsa. It was skipping frames though.
Xine didn't fair any better.
I not using the ~ppc xfree-drm which may speed it up.
I believe I read that xfree 4.3 should provide better video support at least for ati cards. |
