Hi,
gibt es irgendeine Möglichkeit, bei einem Rootserver auf den man nur per SSH Zugriff hat (leider keine serielle Konsole) die "Hochfahrmeldungen", d.h. die Ausgabe von init (das Vorher kriegt man ja per dmesg) bzw. den Initscripts zu sehen?
Mein Problem ist nämlich, ich habe bei meinem Server gerade Baselayout geupdatet, aber will ihn jetzt nicht neustarten, weil ich Angst habe, dass er sonst nicht mehr hochfährt...
Ich muss die Meldungen nicht in Echtzeit sehen, es würde mir schon reichen, wenn sie irgendwo geloggt werden würden, damit ich sie mir im Rettungssystem anschauen kann!

noch (immer) nicht selbst ausprobiert aber ich denke mal du suchst nach app-admin/showconsole.
