I am about to install gentoo on a 250GB hardrive and i thought "Why not do it the right this time around" So i was wondering what File system is advised and what sections of linux i should partition to increase speed & reduce my fragmenting i know /tmp should be in its own partition but what else am i missing? and what do you advise for different filesystems for different partitions?
System Specs:
250 GB Hard Drive
1.67 GHZ AMD Athlon XP
Shiney. -- Just having two things looked dumb... 3 makes it look.. ok good point.
