|

I've managed to set up the Wacom digitizer on my Tablet PC successfully by following various sources online.
It works, but whenever I pull the pen away from the screen, the cursor jumps to the upper left-hand corner of the screen. It's quite annoying, and can be potentially dangerous, as I have my window manager following focus by mouse hover.
Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks _________________ rcxAsh |

Sounds like you have a wrong mousedevice linked in your xorg configuration. Try to change between /Dev/psaux and the /dev/input/* devices. You also need to have the event interface in your kernel. _________________ Don't mess with the Penguin. |

Hey, thanks for the reply!
Tablet PCs use a serial interface. So I am not using the /dev/input/ stuff for it.
http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/index.php/howto/wacdump
I am using /dev/ttyS0. No other ttySNs seem to work. Catting them while moving the stylus gives nothing (in fact, most of the respond with an input/output error). Catting ttyS0, however (what I am using), reacts to any pen movement.
The thing is, the pen is working flawlessly except for the fact that the cursor jumps back to 0,0 when I pull it away from the screen. _________________ rcxAsh |

I have the same problem on my toshiba m200. Is this just how the wacom driver works or does anyone's mouse pointer stay were you were last pointing? |
