Hi there,

any idea about the above message?

I've got a brand new dual-opteron with 8 GB ram and 4 drives in raid10-configuration with XFS-partitions.
Trying to run bonnie++ on the raid results in a load of 3.x, and a couple of the above messages logged.
Killing bonnie++ needs some minutes to finish then ... .

Thanks in advance,

Thomas

Ok, I've got some more info.
Found a tool named mcelog which output:
Quote:

MCE 0
CPU 0 4 northbridge TSC c40b5903fd22
ADDR 45a0000
Northbridge GART error
bit61 = error uncorrected
TLB error 'generic transaction, level generic'
STATUS a40000000005001b MCGSTATUS 0

Some error, but which one exactly? What can I tell the guy who sold that hardware? ;)

I get a number of MCE events, I dont think that they mean there is anything actully wrong with the hardware. On my NForce3 system I haven't noticed anything happen after an mce.
