Let me start by saying, I've installed Apache2/PHP4 many times, with no problems, I reformatted my dev. box the other day, and decided to go with apache2/php5 this time. Both compiled fine (~amd64), so it has:
mod_php-5.0.4
php-5.0.3-r1
apache-2.0.54-r6
I've got apache up and running. However, when I go to a .php file, it asks me where I want to save it, (doesn't know how to parse it I guess). I changed APACHE_OPTS= to "-D PHP5".. If I try to add the module in my httpd.conf, it complains and warns that it has already been loaded... Adding an AddType application/x-httpd-php .php doesn't change anything either..
Any thoughts? |

I've got mod_php-5.0.4 and apache-2.0.54-r11 working fine here. Could you post your "httpd.conf" and "/etc/apache2/modules.d/70_mod_php.conf"
On my system I didnt change the installed config files, I just added "-D PHP5" to /etc/conf.d/apache2
If you post yours, maybe we can track down the difference. |
