|
|
Is there any software that let you create your own Birthday card, invitation card, Christmas card, gift labels etc... with templates, clip arts, and photos in Linux similar to PrintMaster, PrintHouse Magic, PrintShop Pro?
I even have the DOS versions, Windows 3.1 version, and Win 9x version of those programs, but isn't there Linux programs similar to those?
I want to be able to create cards and print them within 10 minutes. Any ideas? Suggestions? _________________ "There will be more joy in heaven over the tear-bathed face of a repentant sinner than over the white robes of a hundred just men." (LM, 114) |

OpenOffice just wouldn't cut it. It doesn't have enough clip arts and templates (for example, it doesn't have any Christmas Card templates where as in PrintShop Pro, you have over 40 Christmas Card "Made-ready" to choose from). It is a totally different products.
And unfortunately, the graphics in the DOS programs is way too outdated. It uses 8-bps colurs, which is terrible in today's standard. _________________ "There will be more joy in heaven over the tear-bathed face of a repentant sinner than over the white robes of a hundred just men." (LM, 114) |

If you've already got the programs for DOS/Windows, why not run them under Dosbox or Wine? |
