Ok, I have a case of thise like so many others have. I've read a lot of ideas, but am not sure about how to go about attempting to make changes from that "shell" mode provided. From this point how to I get in to check/edit my lilo.conf or anything else I need to check? Sorry for my ignorance here with this, just not sure where to start.
Thanks

Mount your partitions and chroot, just like described in the Handbook. You should be able to find your files then. Search the forums for solutions to your problem first, ask questions later and provide us with a good description of your problem and the relevant configurations of your system. _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Ok, I got what I needed out of your post sorta. Just didn't know to type in /dev/hda3 at that prompt, and your post helped me figure that out. Thanks! |
