I'd like to install dev-utils/tla via portage, but it has some dependencies like util-linux, coreutils, automake, e2fsprogs, some pretty fundamental stuff. should I add some of those to the list of already included packages, or should I slog through trying to get them to compile? _________________ http://www.desertsol.com/~kevin/ppc |

I just commented out the dependency on coreutils and util-linux from the tla-1.3.2 ebuild, and it then emerged and works fine on os x. _________________ http://www.desertsol.com/~kevin/ppc |

you can emerge stuff without dependencies with the --nodeps option.
like:
Code: | emerge --nodeps tla |
