Just a note to document a problem and fix.
Was having problems with screen artifacts (radial spokes and triangles) on 3D apps, especially cedega games on my new AMD64 box with Geforce 6600. Problem would occur after a few minutes of use. I suspected memory leak, but investigation revealed that some &^%* tech had allowed a ribbon cable to block the fan on the AGP card.
Suspect heat issues if you see this problem. |
