Heyho,
it may sounds like a silly question, but i got a mp3player here (TrekStor i.Beat Rock) and it seems that there is no Problem with connecting it to my machine.
But i don't know which device it is connected to.
In /var/log/message i got
usb 2-2: new full speed USB device using address 2
Nothing more nothing less.
I've treid some of the sd* devices but none of them works...
Any suggestions?
Greatings

If you don't see a message saying that it is assigned to something like /dev/sdax, it's probably because you haven't enabled scsi support in your kernel. The kernel treats USB storage devices like thumbdrives and mp3 players as scsi devices. Make sure scsi support and usb storage are both enabled in the kernel. _________________ "They call 'em fingers, but I've never seem them fing. Woah, there they go." |
