Hi, I'm trying to make a LiveUSB (http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Gentoo_LiveCD_and_LiveUSB) -
but on `livecd-ng gentoo-basic build`, i get lots of lines of this:
Code: | portage: Update type "slotmove" not recognized.
...
!!! No profile directory; system mode unavailable. |
and eventually it fails with these lines:
Code: | >>> Emerging sys-apps/partimage...
cp: cannot create regular file `/opt/tmp/gentoo-basic/cdroot/usr/src/linux/.config': No such file or directory
chroot_generate: aborting. |
what's this about? yes, i am in /etc/livecd-ng/, so ./profile/gentoo-basic is in my path...
--- oops, maybe i should have posted this to the portage forum.. |
