(from page one)
USE="gcj" is broken because of missing headers or library ...
gcj-3.4.4 misses jawt.h & jawt_md.h headers aswell as (gc)jawt.so library!
gcj-4.0.1_beta20050607 got jawt.h & jawt_md.h headers but (gc)jawt.so is missing!
are these gcc herd errors which need to be reported?! or how do i get that library for gcj4?
Devs? anyone? ... goin' mad ... wtf _________________ hear hear |

@geki
Maybe... Oh yes! Now OO doesn't break with that error on pyunoloader! Or at least... it seems that, after two hours of compiling, it passed that correctly! Wonderful! Now I hope it will install correctly, without that other error at page... mh, 32 of this thread, maybe !
See you when it'll finish !
PS: Ah... erhm, I forgot to say what I changed : I'm now using your C{XX}FLAGS and I've set LDFLAGS to "-Wl,-z,now", and OO seems compiling well ! _________________ Thrain

Thrain, if it finishes for you do not wonder that you get slow initial startups of OOo2! _________________ hear hear |

In this post some people have implemented that by using /etc/portage/bashrc ... It works very well, seeming without problems...
Ah... I don't use the bashrc script posted in the first post, but that wroten by SoTired some posts below... which use a loopize function!

added some amd64 fixes. if you intend to build it on amd64 use unset CFLAGS, CXXFLAGS & LDFLAGS!
well, right now i dunno if it even takes them from make.conf because amd64 config file is not touched unlike x86 config files ... _________________ hear hear |
