HP ScanJet 4670 support? [closed]

Hello,

I want to buy a HP scanner of the 4670 series.

Are there people who have experience with this scanner combined with Gentoo? I dont want to buy a scanner that doesnt work.

Well i have setup an old usb hp scnjet 3400c in gentoo with no problem reading this article http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Installing_USB_Scanner read it and also check this site http://www.sane-project.org/sane-supported-devices.html to see if your scanner it is supported

I have the 4670 scanner, and no, it is not supported. The only thing I have gotten to work, is running it under Windows in VMware. I haven't gotten it to work natively in Linux, and the SANE project does not have a driver for it yet.
