ok.... for bash I have the nice Code: | PROMPT_COMMAND='echo -ne "\033]0;${USER}@${HOSTNAME%%.*}:${PWD/$HOME/~}\007"' |
for my PROMPT_COMMAND
which prints a nice colour coded Code: | user@hostname /home/user/somedir # |
but in xterm on an X11 server I have some other rubbish that prints as my PROMPT_COMAND how can I change this? |
