Hello
I'm trying to emerge Qmail
Code:

emerge -a qmail

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies \
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy ">=sys-apps/daemontools-0.76-r1".

now I'm looking for daemontools and found it at "sys-process/daemontools"

next was looking in the last qmail ebuild
Code:

grep daemontools /usr/portage/mail-mta/qmail/qmail-1.03-r15.ebuild
        >=sys-process/daemontools-0.76-r1

Why portage says "no ebuilds to satisfy ">=sys-apps/daemontools-0.76-r1"
but in the ebuild "sys-process/daemontools" are used as depency?
Where is the bug?
Ok, a ln -s sys-process/daemontools to sys-apps/daemontools helps to solve the
problem until the next emerge sync, but there is the problem.

There is certainly a problem. I get this error too, although it say it is php that has a depend/*depend problem?

I have no clue where the error occurs, it is surely an ebuild that stills reference to the old place where daemontools used to live.

Gentoo guys, please restrain yourself of constantly renaming categories. :( Clearly the code is not up to it. Fix it. Oh, and get that reverse dependency working too. Don't waste time on colors and nice turning slashes.
