Hi
This is my problem. I want to have LIRC on my computer, so I must active Module unloading in the kernel (why I don't know). No special problem at this time.
But I I boot the new kernel (with module unloading support), the nvsound module (from nVidia drivers) causes a "Segmentation fault" and the system stop the boot.
When I desactivate the module unloading support in kernel, all is OK but LIRC doesn't work (unknown symbol) when I load the lirc_serial module.
So my question, can I use nvsound and lirc ?
PS : I want to use the spdif output of the nForce audio unit. The built in snd-intel8x0 module doesn't seems to support output trought SPDIF connection.
If no, can I use SPDIF output of nForce2 audio unit with the snd-intel8x0 module ?
Thanks for your help
Elekaj
PS : Sorry for my bad english. I hope you can understand me. |
