Hello, i read the other forum on this subject and thats not my case i have the right partitions set, i still cant get my system running i get error message:
Warning: unable to open inital console
Kenerl panic-not syncing: no init found. Try passing init= option to kernel.


if you have any imput please please reply i really would like to get my box up and running!

Could be a problem with udev;

This sometimes happens when you configure your bootloader with root=/dev/hda1 when it should be root=/dev/hda3
